The UK health secretary, Matt Hancock,  received his first dose of the AstraZeneca Covid vaccine on Thursday. The jab was administered by the deputy chief medical officer for England, Jonathan Van-Tam.

Hancock said: 'This is my first jab, the first one. The Queen, she said it doesn't hurt a bit. And so, you know, I trust the Queen'
